Is life better now than it was? No, it's a different life though.
trade offs
toilet to shit in when I need to, for as long as I need to
can take a shower as long and as much as I want
people to talk to/listen to/engage in some level of conversation : sometimes cool, sometimes bullshit
the possibility of meeting anyone
the pleasure of the sun on your face, wind in your hair, flowers and growing things and little creatures like birds and squirrels and lady beatles, different foods and picking for yourself at the grocery store, using your muscles and body - though not to the point of pain -
constantly surrounded - and very suddenly - by people coughing and sneezing and then within a month I am the one coughing and sneezing and constantly blowing my nose
big giant wads of snot like it's been trapped in my body for the last five years
how did anyone make me feel like people were paying attention to me before in a way they must have never been and - aren't now, right?
I need to get ready for my shower
- soap, conditioner bag
- change of clothes
thankful for people who pack lunches in zip lock bags instead of the brown paper bags - I try to recycle everything
Wanted to change my outfit on Wednesday but the zipper didn't work on the top and I didn't fix it
- need to ask for another sewing kit
9:26 might as well log off and get ready for my shower
