Dear President Obama,
Weed is harmless - more so than the very legal and regulated Cigarette and Booze Industries - and you know it.
Wall Street is dangerous and you know it.
Government control and taxation of Marijuana, whether strictly medicinal or recreational, could bring in billions of dollars and you know it.
The people are telling you what they want.
They're screaming it in the streets. Literally.
Why aren't you listening?
What happened to being on the right side of history?
I knew people expected way too much of you, but it's not like you haven't done anything right. You've done a lot of great things that have gone unnoticed and unpublicized.
It's obvious you're going to go down in history no matter what - so what's the deal?
And yeah, there are totally bigger things to worry about. All the more reason to just stop the madness.
Here's to hoping you fix this, or somebody runs in 2012 who will.
